Miss Theresa Posda, daughter of Mr. George Posda,
R.R. 3, Stanley, Wis., became the bride of Raymond Grendzinski, R.R. 3, Thorp
(Clark Co.), Wis., on Saturday, Oct. 28, 1961. At St. Hedwig’s Cahpel, Thorp,
Rev. Edward Masalewicz performed a double ring ceremony and a nuptial mass
followed.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length
gown with Chantilly lace bodice with tiers of lace ruffles and long sleeves. Her
shoulder length veil was attached to a crown of Chantilly lace matching the
bodice set with miniature Princess Margaret crown of crystal beads. Her bouquet
of three orchids with white carnations and streamers of stephanotis. Completing
her ensemble was a cross necklace and crystal rosary, a gift from the groom.
Attending the bride were her sister, Mrs. Louise Skwierczynski of Chicago,
Ill. as matron of honor. Miss Karen Jiskra of Milwaukee, Miss Nancy Gorzny, Miss
Barbara Krause, both of Chicago, friends of the bride, and Miss Barbara Bando,
Lublin, Wis., cousin of the groom. Wearing satin turquoise street dresses with
petal shaped crown with crystal beads and net crystal neckline and earring set,
a gift of the bride, completing their ensemble. The bridesmaids carried an
assorted bouquet of colored carnations, the matron of honor carried an assorted
bouquet of colored carnations and pink rose.
The flower girl, Rita
Skwierczynski, a nice of the bride, of Chicago, wore a lace gown similar to that
of the bride, carrying a bouquet of one white orchid and white carnations with
streamers of stephanotis. Randle Skwierczynski, nephew of the bride of Chicago,
served as ring bearer, wearing a tuxedo the same at the groom’s attendants.
Attending the groom, were James Posda, brother of the bride, of Chicago, as
best man, Edmund Grendzinski, brother of the groom, of Seattle, Wash., Bernard
Grendzinski, cousin of the groom, and Lawrence Wink, friend of the groom, both
of Thorp. The groom’s mother wore a blue lace dress. Her corsage was of three
miniature orchids.
Immediately following the services a dinner was served
to about 110 relatives and friends in the parish hall. The music was furnished
by Mike Kryzanski and his Nightingales.
The newlyweds left for Mackinac
Island, Mich.., Chicago, and southern parts of Wisconsin. They will make their
home here in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

Mr. and Mrs. Casey Grendzinski, Miss Pauline Kramicz, Mr. and Mrs. Steve
Hornacek, Mr. and Mrs. Lud Hollaway, Mr. Adolph Greyneski, Mr. and Mrs. Steve
Kmiec, Mr. Florian and Richard Posda, Miss Grace Doere, all of Chicago, Ill.,
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Schmidt of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Polnaszek of
Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bauer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Grendzinski and
family of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. John Bill of Chippewaa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
