Yellow glads and white mums decorated the altar of St. Hedwig’s Chapel, Thorp,
for the marriage of Miss Janice Marie Johnson to Richard Dobrzynski. Father
Edward Masalewicz performed the ten a.m. double ring ceremony on Dec. 2, 1961.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ole Johnson, Stanley, and Mr. and
Mrs. Wallace Dobrzynski, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
For her wedding, the
bride wore a beige wool suit with ranch mink collar and a velvet mink hat with
brown accessories. She carried a white prayer book and wore a white orchid
corsage.
Mrs. Edward Dobrzynski, Eau Claire, was matron of honor, wearing
a 2-piece brown dress with brown accessories and a corsage of yellow roses.
Edward Dobrzynski, Eau Claire, was he brother’s best man, and ushers were:
Jerry Szymanski, cousin of the groom, and Lawrence Johnson, brother of the
bride.
White streamers and bells and yellow and white mums on the tables
decorated the St. Hedwig’s Chapel parlors for the reception. Mrs. Lawrence
Johnson was in charge of the guest gook and Mrs. Edward Dobrzynski and Betty
Miller served the wedding cake.
The bride’s mother attended her
daughter’s wedding wearing a beige sheath with magenta accessories, and the
groom’s mother wore a brown dress and accessories. Each wore a corsage of an
orchid colored orchid.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Dobrzynski will be at home at
302 Cameron St., Eau Claire.
