Mrs. Ed Dobbe went to Wausau Monday.
From there she accompanied other ladies to Milwaukee, where they attended the
Lutheran Women’s Missionary Federation Executive Board meeting which was held at
the Wisconsin Hotel. Mrs. Dobbe returned Wednesday.
Tuesday afternoon,
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Vogel visited with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Neeb.
Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Leon and daughter Jackie from Milwaukee spent the weekend with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bender.
Miss Joyce Neeb accompanied Mr.
Onken, 4-H Club Agent, to Chippewa Falls where they attended the state Junior
4-H Club leaders meeting.
Dale Hoeser of Milwaukee spent a few hours last
weekend with his parents, the Leon Hoesers.
Mrs. Frank Vajgrt and
daughter Julie Anne returned Friday after attending the funeral of the former’s
siters at Wahoo, Neb.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dobbe spent Wednesday evening with
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Stumpner.
Mrs. Allen Luber returned home last week
Monday from St. Joseph’s Hospital after undergoing surgery. She is gaining
satisfactorily.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bauer and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Bauer of
Spencer visited Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Litka.
Miss
LaVaun Neeb of Stout State College, Menomonie, spent the weekend with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Neeb.
Mrs. Hillis Kadolph and son Randy went
to Oshkosh Wednesday to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Matthias. On
Thursday they went to Manitowoc to attend the funeral of a relative. The
Kadolphs returned home Friday.
