Funeral services for Mrs. Bernard Fischer of Medford were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Christ Church Federated (Methodist), Medford, with the Rev. Gordon Welch officiating. Mrs. Fisher, who had been ill for several months, died in Wis. General Hospital, Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1958.

The former Elva Castner, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dan Castner, was born at Loyal Nov. 15, 1900, and had lived in the Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) area for many years before going to live on a farm near Medford. She was married to Bernard Fischer at Marshfield Dec. 1942.

She is survived by her husband; a son Donald of Okauchee; two grandchildren; a brother, Claude Castner, and two sisters, Mrs. C.J. Berg and Mrs. Reginald Behren, all of Marshfield.
