Mr. and Mrs. William Loppnow were surprised Feb. 28, 1958, when unexpected guests arrived to help them celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary and Mr. Loppnow’s 82nd birthday anniversary.

Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Voss, Horicon; Henry Zickuhr, Hartford; Mrs. Annie Loppnow, Miss Sophia Loppnow, Mr. and Mrs. Art Lautenbach, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Henseler Sr., Mr. and Mrs. William Kozinski, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cox, and Mr. and Mrs. F.E. Gotter. A pot luck lunch was served.
