Feutz, Christian (13 May 1885 - 2 January 1967)
Funeral services will be
held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock from the United Church of Christ in
Neillsville for Christian Feutz, 81, Granton, who died Monday.
The Rev.
W. C. Koehler will officiate and burial will be made in the Neillsville City
Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Georgas Funeral Home.
Mr. Feutz was born May 13, 1885, in Switzerland and came to the United
States at the age of 25. He located in southern Wisconsin, where he made cheese
for 11 years. He then came to Clark County and operated a factory which he built
on his arrival here. Following the sale of his factory he purchased a farm
southeast of Neillsville, which has been his home since. In 1958, he retired
from farming, but continued to live on the farm. On October 1, 1913, he was
married to the former Thel Galbreath in Cannonville.
He is survived by
his wife; three sons, Lynn of Wisconsin Rapids, Roy of Lander, Wyo., and Donald,
at home; a brother, William of Randolph; and seven grandchildren.
