Malinowski, Mary Ann (3 September 1987 - 21 June 2012)
Mary Ann
Malinowski, age 24, of Mauston, formerly of Thorp, was taken from us
unexpectedly in an automobile accident, at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012.
Mary was born on September 3, 1987, in Marshfield, WI, to Donald and
Kathleen (Kubis) Malinowski of Thorp, WI. She graduated from Thorp High School
in 2006. Mary worked at Ace Oil Express in Thorp for several years, until she
moved to the Mauston area, where she made her home and then became employed at
the Bunk House in New Lisbon.
In her free time, she loved spending time
with and spoiling her nieces, and being with family and friends. Mary will be
deeply missed by all.
She is survived by her parents, Donald and Kathleen
Malinowski of Thorp; Her sister, Agnes (Lucas) Buttke of Cadott; her brother,
Donald Malinowski, Jr. of Thorp; four nieces; Helen Malinowski, Rosemary Buttke,
Bridget Buttke, and Kristina Buttke; and Special Grandma Jo of Thorp.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Agnes Kubis;
her paternal grandparents, Louis and Rose Malinowski; three uncles: Ed, Andy and
Frank Malinowski; and one aunt, Henny Malinowski.
A memorial service was
held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Thorp Funeral Home, in Thorp, with
Rev. Don Meuret officiating. Visitation was held at Thorp Funeral home, on
Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, her
family asks that donations be given to a fund set up for Mary at Northwestern
Bank in Thorp.
