Neillsville Locals (5 January 1967)

Carla and Anton Dern, who attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, spent the vacation with their mother, Mr. A. K. Dern. Miss Cheryl Friberg of Wausau also visited at the Dern home.

Mrs. Clara Lastofka and Mrs. Emma Michels of Alma Center, and Mrs. Anna Neville, spent New Year’s Day with Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hatton in Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Lenz and family also were guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ehlers and family of Green Bay spent the New Year’s weekend with her mother, Mrs. Eva Grottke, and daughter, Linda. They also visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ehlers and family.

Mr. and Mrs. David Weir and five children of Boyd visited Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Carter New Year’s Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barr spent the weekend in Faribault, Minn., with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Braunies. They also spent sometime with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stigen and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Barr and family in Minneapolis.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Schmidt and Susan were New Year’s Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Short and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Philip Kundinger of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wolf of Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schill and daughter, Carol, of Auburndale, visited Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Schmidt Monday.

Mrs. Estella Dux and son, DeWayne, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Manley Walker and family, of Prairie Farm over the holidays.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bonney, Jr., spent New Year’s Eve with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bonney, Sr.

Mrs. Floyd Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Vincent and Joyce, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Urban and daughters, and Mrs. and Mrs. Irving Stevens visited New Year’s Day with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Dopp in Marshfield.
