Greenwood Immanuel Church
(Installation New Pastor - 1966)
Installation services for the Rev. David
S. Logue to the pastorate of Immanuel United and Zion United Church will be held
at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 22, at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Mr. Logue will preach
the installation sermon.
Participating in the service will be the Rev.
James Savides of Eau Claire, Northwest association minister of United Church of
Christ, who will give the installation prayer and charge to the church; the Rev.
Robert E. Goessling, pastor of the First Congregational Church in Owen, who will
read the scriptures from the Old and New Testaments and the charge to the
minister; the Rev. W. C. Koehler, pastor of the United Church in Neillsville,
will give the solemn declaration and the invocation; the Rev. Vernon Dolde,
pastor of the Peace United Church in Schofield and associate moderator of the
Northwest association, will give the covenant of installation and the statement
by the moderator.
The offering received will be sent to the Northwest
association student’s fund. Following the service, sandwiches, cake and coffee
will be served.
