Lockman, Viola
(12 June 1885 - 4 February 1967)
Mrs. Frank Lockman, 81, of Memorial
Home died Saturday in Neillsville. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon
from Calvary Lutheran Church in Neillsville, of which she was a member. The Rev.
E. G. Burtness officiated and burial was made in the Columbia Cemetery, in the
Town of Hewett.
Mrs. Lockman, the former Viola Barnes, was born June 12,
1885, in the Town of Pine Valley, and had been a livelong resident of the
Neillsville and Columbia area.
On September 10, 1908, she was married to
Fred C. Bohnhoff, who died in 1918. Her second marriage took place December 16,
1925, to Frank Lockman, who died in 1954. Both marriages took place in
Neillsville.
She is survived by a son, Wilson Bohnhoff of Rt. 2
Neillsville (Columbia area).
Pallbearers were: Harry Ambelang, Otto
Wetzel, Leslie Cook, Richard Karl, William Sollberger and William Schulz.
“I Know of a Sleep in Jesus” and “Abide With Me” were sung by Mrs. Roger
Heineck, accompanied by Mrs. E. G. Burtness.
