This week has been a moving week in every
way. Dr. Housley into Mrs. Marten’s house; Geo. Waterman moved into the house
bought of Dr. Housley; Mrs. Graham moved in the upstairs of Mrs. Marten’s house
and E.A. Oens moved into the house vacated by Mrs. Graham. The wind moved from
east to west and so the weath became warmer.
Al Snow shipped a car of
stock on mond, so did the equity.
W.R. Happe, who was badly hurt on his
head while sharpening fence posts, is around again.
The directors of the
Chili State Bank met in monthly session Monday.
H. Henning and Wife, Tom
Gibson and Mrs. A. Degener were to Spencer tues per car.
Chas. Cross
moved onto the place bought of Mr. Betzel last week. He bought himself a team
again.
A lot of hay has been bought lately by those that were short of
feed. But probably it will be about over with now, there is some picking for
stock no.
Mrs. Jake Hoffman is home from the Marshfield Hospital since
Tuesday.
Mrs. A.M. Blake, formerly of this place, after several weeks at
the Marshfield hospital, passed through here on her way home to Granton, Route 4
on Monday.
