Cold again! This time it was 12 below zero in
our neighborhood. But here’s hope the days are getting longer, warm weather will
be here in the near future.
Francis Koschak, 17-year-old son of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Koschak, was admitted to Memorial Hospital in Neillsville Monday of
last week and on Tuesday evening was transferred by ambulance to the hospital in
Marshfield. He underwent surgery there on Friday morning.
Miss Pat
Rakovec of Marshfield spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cyril
Rakovec, and family.
Mrs. Donald Hatton of Minneapolis, Minn., visited a
few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Arch.
Andrew Cohara spent a
few days recently in Appleton, where he attended an appliance repair school.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lamovec spent Saturday with relatives in
Ashland.
Jim Klovas of Wausau spent a few days last week with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. George Klovas.
Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock left Tuesday for
Guilford, Conn., where they attended the wedding of their son, James
Scharenbrock, to Miss Joan Granniss. The wedding took place last Saturday.
Mrs. John Zuege and family of Superior visited her mother, Mrs. Mary Snedic,
and at the Roger Djubenski home.]
A2/c Robert Trunkel returned to Antigo
AFS Sunday evening after visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Trunkel, and
Family.
Mrs. Frank Koschak recently returned from Memorial Hospital at
Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Vandy Suda of Gurnee, Ill., spent several days
with their sons, Ted and Lawrence, and families.
