Bizjak, August (26 March 1907 -14 February 1967)

August Bizjak, 59, Rt. 1 Loyal, died Tuesday morning in the Marshfield hospital, where he had been a patient since January 28. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. David Logue of Zion Immanuel United Church will officiate. Burial will be made in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Bizjak was born March 26, 1907, in Indianapolis, Ind. He never married. He came with his parents, August and Anna (Schaschl) Bizjak, at an early age to Willard, where he received his education. He farmed until 1960, when ill health forced him to retire. After that he made his some with a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bizjak, in Greenwood and later with a brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wehrman and family of Loyal.

He was a member of the Slovenian National Benefit Society.

Survivors include two brothers, Joe of Greenwood and John of Thorp; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Howard of New York City, N. Y., Mrs. Albert (Agnes) Wehrman of Loyal and Mrs. Norman (Sophie) Reineking of Colby.
