Kutchera, Otto Henry (31 August 1891 - 10 February 1967)
Funeral
services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home for Otto
Henry Kutchera, 75, of Neillsville, who died Friday in the Veterans Hospital in
Madison. The Rev. George M. Nelson of St. Mary’s Catholic Church officiated.
Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mr. Kutchera was born
August 31, 1891, in Muscoda, where he received his elementary education. As a
young man he did various jobs and in his later years followed the painting trade
and radiator repair work. He was a veteran of World War I. He was married July
15, 1924, in Minneapolis, Minn., to the former Muriel Chase.
He is
survived by his wife; a son, Lawrence, at home; and two brothers, John of Black
River Falls and Alfred of Tennessee.
Pallbearers were: Melvin Marg,
Herman Tesmer, Emil Wessenberg, John C. Brandt, Alphonse Linster and Walter
Beyer. Organ music was played by Mrs. Glenn Short.
People from out of
town here for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Kutchera of Humbird; Mr. and
Mrs. Dan Chase of Wautoma; Mrs. Philip Chase of Wild Rose; Mr. and Mrs. John
Kutchera, Jr., Mrs. John Kutchera, Sr., Mrs. Adolph Kostohyz and George D.
Johnson, all of Black River Falls; and Henry Schmidt of Loyal.
