Eddy, Darlene (18 March 1933 - 18 February 1967)

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the United Church of Christ for Mrs. Kenneth Eddy, 33, of Rt. 3, Neillsville, who died Saturday in a Marshfield Hospital. The Rev. W. C. Koehler officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Eddy, the former Darlene Shaw, was born March 18, 1933, in Clark County, the daughter of Everett and Erline (Uhlman) Shaw. She attended rural schools and was a 1952 graduate of Neillsville High School. On January 21, 1953, she was married to Kenneth Eddy in Neillsville. At time of her death they operated a farm in the Town of Washburn and Mrs. Eddy was employed at the NEFCO plant in Neillsville. She was a member of the Washburn PTA.

Mrs. Eddy is survived by her husband; six children, Debra, Duane, Susan , Sandra, Brian and Lisa, all at home; by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Shaw of rural Neillsville; a sister, Mrs. Gene (LuAnn) Calkins of Janesville; and two brothers, Ronald and Verland Shaw of Rt. 3, Neillsville.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held February 21 from the United Church of Christ for Mrs. Kenneth (Darlene) Eddy, 33, who died February 18 in a hospital in Marshfield. The Rev. W. C. Koehler officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Donald Lindow, Dale Runge, Robert Chadwick, Robert Wucki, Charles Havlicek and Richard Buchholz.

Arlyn Mills sang, “The Old Rugged Cross” and “The Lord is My Shepherd,” accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.
