Washburn (23 February 1967)

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short called Tuesday afternoon at the George Allbaugh and Mrs. Frank Short homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kosmoski called Friday afternoon at the Mrs. Art Odell home.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams spent last week Tuesday at the Barney Plummer home. Mr. Williams assisted with some work.

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Matousek of Colby spent Sunday afternoon with, and were supper guests of his grandmother, Mrs. Frank Short.

Warren and Francis Lincoln were dinner guests Sunday of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lincoln.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Plummer and his sister, Sandy Plummer of Marshfield, were guests Sunday of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Barney Plummer.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short spent Sunday afternoon with and were supper guests of the Art Shorts.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kalsow and family spent Sunday afternoon at the George Allbaugh home.

Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Laufenberg of Alma Center spent Friday afternoon with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Spiegel and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams called Sunday afternoon at the Kenneth Eddy home and were supper guests of her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Backhaus.

The Washburn P. T. A. met at the school Friday evening with quite a small attendance.

Warren Lincoln returned home Friday from Memorial Hospital, where he was a patient for a week or more with infection in his hand from a bite from a stray cat.

Mr. and Mrs. William Poler visited Saturday afternoon at the Oliver Williams home.
