Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. William Haselow, 84, route 2, Spencer, who died Saturday, August 13, at 7:30 a.m. at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, where she had been taken Thursday evening after a fall at her home. The Rev. Virgil Ganz officiated and burial was made at the Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Delmar Capelle, Robert Young, Arnold Haselow, Paul Haselow, Norman Haseloe, and Vernon Haselow.

Misses Christine, Beatrice and Helen Noeldner sang, “Sleeping Jesus” and “Nearer My God To Thee”, while Miss Carol Noeldner accompanied them on the organ.

The former Bertha Bloedow was born in Germany on May 7, 1876. She came to the United States with her parents as a young girl and settled in the town of Loyal. After her marriage to William Haselow on April 17, 1900 I Trinity Lutheran Church the couple moved to a farm in the town of Sherman. Her husband preceded her in death on July 15, 1951.

In April 1950, Mr. and Mrs. Haselow celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.

Three sons survive her, Erwin, Chili; Albert, Spencer; Elmer, Owen and thirteen grandchildren.

A son, Edwin, a sister and three brothers preceded her in death.

Those from out of town who attended were Mrs. August Blado, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Nelson and sons of Newell, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Schuman, Adams, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Witt, Abbotsford; John Karau, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Haselow and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Haselow of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reilz, Jr. and Walter Jaeger, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. George Bredlau, Neillsville; Miss Ada Capelle, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Capalle, and family of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. and family of Eau Claire; win Haselow, Chili; Miss bBarbara Haselow and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Haselow, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Haselow and family and Miss Bonnie Peterson of Owen.
