Neillsville Locals (9 March 1967)
Miss Carrie Miller of
Dayton, Pa., arrived Thursday for an extended visit with her sister, Mrs. Oscar
Nichols. Paul Nichols of Minneapolis, Minn., was a weekend guest at the Nichols
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Schiller of Port Washington visited his mother,
Mrs. Rose Schiller, and his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schiller and
family, last weekend.
Mrs. Anita Wall returned home Sunday from Memorial
Hospital, where she had been a medical patient for 10 days.
Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Crandall and family of Milwaukee visited Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Yndogliato.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Murphy of Mequon spent the weekend with
her mother, Mrs. Antoinette Cram, and with Mr. Murphy’s relatives. Friday
evening Mr. and Mrs. Murphy visited at the Hugh Howard home.
Mrs. Laverne
Volp and son of Omro are spending several days with her mother, Mrs. Gust Carl.
Dinner guests in honor of Mrs. Carl’s birthday Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
Carl of Nekoosa and Mr. and Mrs. Art Dux of Pine Valley.
Mr. and Mrs.
Fred McCarty of Levis were guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Carl, accompanied by Mrs. Gust Carl, Mrs. Bob Mitte
and Mrs. Tony Perushek, drove to Madison one day last week to visit Mr. Carl at
the Veterans Hospital. They found him much improved and able to take a few steps
without use of his cane.
