Slowiak, Henry (12 DEC 1925 - 18 JAN 1962)
Henry Slowiak, 36, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 1962 in Milwaukee.
Funeral services were held at Mother of Good Council Church in Milwaukee on
Monday, Jan. 22, 1962.
Mr. Slowiak was born in Stanley on Dec. 12, 1925,
the son of John and Mary Slowiak. He attended Otter Creek School and graduated
from the Stanley High School in 1944. On Aug. 20, 1949 he was married to
Florence Klugiewicz of Milwaukee, residing at 3837 North 74th St. in Milwaukee.
He was employed at the Milwaukee Machine Products for the past 15 years.
Surviving are his wife, Florence, one son Kenneth, one daughter Karen, his
parents, Mary and John Slowiak, Stanley; six brothers, Stanley, Frank and Louis
of Stanley, Leo of Thorp, Julian, Milwaukee, Joseph of Chicago, and three
sisters, Mrs. Alex Sliwka (Rose), Thorp, Mrs. Ed Hammerberg (Stella), Chicago,
and Blanche Slowiak of Chicago.
The Rosary was recited in the funeral
home on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. He was a member of Mother of Good council Parish and
Holy Name Society.
