Krutsch, David (School Board
Candidate - 1967)
Mr. Krutsch is a dairy farmer, living southeast of
Neillsville. He is currently the president of the board of education and has
served on the board for four years. He also has served on the boards of many
area cooperatives and is not in his 19th year as a director of Clark Electric
Cooperative. Mr. Krutsch is a graduate of Neillsville High School, and attended
the teachers’ training class in Neillsville before taking up dairy farming as
his life’s occupation.
In summarizing his interest in remaining a member
of the district school board, Mr. Krutsch said: "I believe education, is the
basis for our democracy, and, if for no other reason, am interested in seeing
that our children get a good education. It is a very complex operation, as I
have learned in three years as a member of the board, and it takes time to get
one’s feet on the ground. There must be a great deal of understanding between
the board, the administration and the public. I hope that have been able to
contribute a little to that understanding during the time I have served."
