Cebelinski, Alex (15 MAY 1880 - 2 FEB 1962)

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at St. Hedwig’s Church for Alex Cebelinski, 81, who passed away Friday, Feb. 2nd, 1962 of a stroke. Father Edward Masalewicz officiated at the 9:30 a.m. service and burial was made in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Walter Marek, Art Stewart, Stanley Hucker, Frank Hoffman, Ig. Przybylski and Leon Marek.

Mr. Cebelinski, a retired farmer, was born May 15, 1880 in Poland. He came to America in 1894, living in Chicago until 1911, when he located on a farm in the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). On Nov. 23, 1904 he married Catherine Bonk, who preceded him in death, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Chicago.

Surviving are one son, Bernard, at home, two daughters (Victoria) Mrs. Lee Schonlau, Kerrville, Texas, (Elizabeth) Mrs. Ray W. Schmidt, Thorp, two grandsons and three granddaughters.
