Iffland, Harry (? - 13 April 1967)

Death has again claimed one of our senior residents, Harry Iffland, 72, who died April 13. Mr. Iffland had lived his whole life in the Humbird area. He was a farmer for years, then moved into the village and did carpenter work until his retirement.

His immediate survivors are his wife, Eva, and a sister, Mrs. Leonard Laffe. Other survivors are a nephew and niece.

Services were conducted Saturday from the Jensen Funeral Home at Hixton, with the Rev. Calvin Carey of Merrillan officiating. Burial was made in East Lawn Cemetery at Alma Center.

Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Laffe of Montezuma, Ia., were here Saturday to attend the funeral of Mr. Iffland and were overnight guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Len Laffe. There were several from out of town attending, from Milwaukee, La Crosse and many from the Humbird-Alma Center area.
