Holmes, Inez (9 February 1885 - 12 April 1967)

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton for Miss Inez Holmes, 82, of Granton, who died April 12 in Neillsville.

The Rev. Sheldon Seltzer of Marshfield officiated. Burial was made in the Lynn Cemetery.

Miss Holmes was born February 9, 1885, in the town of Lynn, where she attended rural school. She later attended Neillsville High School and following her graduation she taught rural schools in Chili and in the Town of Lynn. She also gave private music lessons. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Miss Gertrude Holmes of Granton.

Pallbearers were: William Schmidtke, Walter Trimberger, William Beeckler and Durward Schwarze.

Hymns were sung by Mrs. William Schmidtke and Mrs. Van L. Kayser, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Lee Garbisch.
