Louis Schenhaar, a Milwaukee high school boy, is working for Frank Jahr this summer.

Mrs. Lawton is quite ill with heart trouble. Dr. Rath is attending her.

Frank Jahr and family took Clara Wilke home Sunday and spent the day with relatives.

Mrs. Lillis Converse has rented her house in the village and will make her home with her son Clay.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Erwin were callers at Mr. Lawton’s Sunday.

Rev. Reiff and Rev. and Mrs. Hasz were callers at Otto Yordi’s Wednesday evening.

Mr. Bishop left with a carload of household goods for his new home near Whitewater. Mrs. Bishop styed to care for her mother Mrs. Lawton and will join him later.

While at the school picnic Ernest Jahr fell from a bicycle and fractured his left arm quite badly. His father took him direct to Granton where Dr. Rath set the arm which is now mending nicely.

Mrs. A.E. Whitney of Council Bluffs, Iowa, is spending several weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lue Smith.

Harlan Bergeman is able to be about on crutches and gaining in strength and weight daily.

The Oscar Jahr family, with Miss Eva Barber, autoed to Loyal Sunday and spent the day with relatives.

Mrs. F. Johnson, daughter Dora, and Pearl Murphy, were visitors at Lue Smith’s Sunday.

Miss Clara Wilke closed a very successful term of school with a picnic in T.F. Lee’s grove last Friday.

Miss Frieda Williams is at Howard Erwin’s assisting Mrs. Erwin with her housework.

Elsie Johnson spent the weekend at home.
