Mr. and Mrs. Will Schwellenbach are the happy parents of a baby boy.

Arnold Henchen and Edgar Grap went to Illinois Wednesday to work.

Chris Christenson came over from Rose Lawn Tuesday of last week to get his car, returning home Wednesday. He reports that his wife’s health is no better.

There was a dance at the Chas. White home Saturday evening.

Hans and Elizabeth Bloche of Pine Valley visited Sunday afternoon at Albert Hemp’s.

Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Dudei and son Arnold autoed to Neillsville Wednesday evening.

Bertha Quast is helping Mrs. Guy Youmans of Neillsville for a few days.

Miss Linus Prock returned Monday from her visit at Jefferson.

A.B. Marsh has had the house shingled on the Bullard farm and her will also have the building painted.

Elsie Mallig visited her sister, Mrs. Oswald Pischer near Granton over Sunday.

Emil and Chas. Poppe each purchased a Chevrolet car last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hessel and little daughter of Greenwood visited at the home of Mrs. Hessel’s father, August Worchel, Sunday.

Fred Glasow is having a foundation built for a new barn, for which he is using stones from the old Newcomb farm, across from his place.

D.F. Wallace was at Chicago last week on business.

Linus Prock autoed to Greenwood Sunday.

Mrs. Wm. Kohl of Neillsville is spending a few days on the farm with her children.

A few from here helped at the barn raising bee at the J. Belter farm last Thursday.

Mrs. Albert Kalsow spent Thursday with her sister, Mrs. J. Belter.

Mr. and Mrs. August Wegner entertained the following people Sunday: David Rhines and family of Grant; Mr. and Mrs. C. Daehnert Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. H. Daehnert of Levis; Mrs. Elsie Glass and daughter Mercedes of Neillsville; and Mrs. Linus Frank of Weston.
