Soper, Frank W. (30 December 1920 - 5 July 2012)
Frank
W. Soper, 91, Town of Maplehurst, died on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Memorial
Health Center in Medford. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 9, 2012, at
11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin with Father
Marion Talaga officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary’s PNCC Cemetery, also in
Lublin.
Frank, a loving husband, father and grandfather, was born on
December 30, 1920, to Anna (Sedevic) and Joseph Soper. He married Frances
Jarocki on September 16, 1944. They farmed in Maplehurst for many years, and
then he did a lot of woodworking. Frank enjoyed traveling and often relaxed in a
boat with his fishing rod. He loved his polka music, loved dancing to it and
entertained his family with his harmonica. With a sparkle in his eye and a
subtle sense of humor, interacting with his family is what Frank enjoyed most.
Frank is survived by his wife, Frances; four children: Ray (Anne) Soper,
Marcie (Bob) Peach, Carol (Kelly) Nosko, and Lynn (Johnny) McGee; 10
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rudy; a sister, Emma Quick,
plus many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
three brothers: Joseph, Edward and Henry.
