Mrs. Hoffman came back from the Marshfield Hospital last week. She has recovered so far that she can get around in good shape.

Mrs. C.L. Blakeley also came back from the hospital last week. She went home and was in Chili on a shopping trip this week Monday.

The government is inviting the farmers all over the country to seed flax. There is a probable shortage of about 6,000,000 bushels for this year. Argentina had a failure, so none can be expected from there. There is going to be an extra demand for linseed oil and by-products. The price of flax is certainly going to be good. The demand generally regulated the price. There has been very little flax sowed in this part of the country of late, as dairying is the main industry of this part of the state. Wherever possible, farmers ought to seed some flax; it will be a paying proposition, if the right kind of flax can be had.
