Rev. Geo. Crow and family spent Wednesday with A.P.
Fulwiler and family. They also visited school in District No. 2 and Mr. Crow
gave a 5 minute talk to the pupils.
Frank Kubat is doing some plastering
for John Lastofka this week.
Dan Timerson and family spent Sunday
afternoon at the M.C. Alton home.
Ben Wiskow called a cheese meeting last
Friday night to determine whether the factory should start up again this season,
but only a few came out to it. Consequently no meeting was held and the
supposition is that the factory will not run.
Mrs. Mary Fulwiler left
last Saturday for Marshfield to visit indefinitely.
Mrw. Wm. O’Brien is
expected home this week from the Marshfield Hospital.
The farmers her
have finished seeding, and are busy with corn fields.
Miss Goldie
Anderson visited at ye scribe’s home last Sunday.
Vet Pease has been busy
hauling cement home from Neillsville the past week. He is getting ready to build
a basement and move his barn onto it.
J.C. Stierle and Dale Fulwiler came
over from Marshfield Saturday evening on Mr. Stierle’s motorcycle and called
briefly at the home of the latter’s parents.
