Joseph
Czyzewicz, 71, passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire on Wednesday,
April 4th, 1962.
Mr. Czyzewicz was born Dec. 27, 1890 at Manistee, Mich.
He moved to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) at the age of 3, and since 1916 he lived at
Eau Claire, where he was a building contractor, except for the time he served in
World War I.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Chapel with
military rites on Saturday, April 7th. Father Edward Masalewicz officiated at
the 9:30 a.m. service and burial was in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were
Frank Swienton, Tom Polnaszek, Wilfred Vanderhyden, Frank Sierocuk, William
Laucpach, and Frank Kowalski.
Surviving are one brother Henry, Thorp, and
one sister (Catherine) Mrs. Walter Czech of Riverside, Ill.
