Wheeler, Karl (18 MAR 1905 - 10 APR 1962)
Karl Wheeler, 57, Darien, Wis., died April 10, 1962 in the Mercy Hospital in
Janesville, of Cancer. Karl was born March 18, 1905 at Christie (Clark Co.),
Wis., the son of Frank and Ethel (Tracy) Wheeler. He married Sylvia Wolf in
Woodstock, Ill, April 2, 1934.
He farmed in the Delavan area for about
twenty years.
Karl was a member of Our Redeemer Church of Delavan, and
had served 15 years on the Fairfield School Board.
He is survived by his
wife, a son Burton at home, and two daughters, Margery at home and Mrs. Delores
Swanberg of Rockford, Ill., a sister, Mrs. Gladys Sims of Lampasas, Texas, four
brothers, Herbert of Big Foate, Wis., Howard of Harvard, Ill., William of Wood,
Wis., Clayton of Ellsworth, Wis.
His parents owned the Reseburg (Clark
Co., Wis.) store some years ago.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m.
Friday in Our Redeemer Church, with Rev. Donald Wilke officiating. Burial was in
the Darien Cemetery.
