Funeral services were conducted by
Rev. Edward Masalewicz at St. Hedwig’s Church here at ten o’clock Tuesday
morning, May 8th for Mrs. Mary V. Mamajek, 88, who passed away at the Stanley
Hospital at Stanley, Wis. on May 5, 1962.
Mary Prusaczek was born in
Poland on Feb. 25, 1874. She came to this country while a young girl and was
married to Valentine Mamajek in Pittsburg, Pa. on Aug. 25, 1894. Her husband
preceded her in death.
She resided in Buffalo, N.Y. and Pittsburgh, Pa.
before coming to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) where she and her husband and family
located on a farm. She had been lving with her children for the past few years.
Surviving her are two sons, Stanley Mamajek of Thorp and Walter Mamajek of
Milwaukee; one daughter, Martha, Mrs. Joseph Zuzelski of Thorp.
She was
laid to rest in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Raymond Slipek, Louis
Malecki Jr., Malen Balicki, Robert Zukowski, Gedmon Mikolainis and Henry
Balicki.

Mrs. M. Mamajek May 8th were: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mamajek, Patricia Mamajek,
Jeanette Mamajek and son Ronald, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mamajek of Milwaukee,
Mr. and Mrs. Julian Slowiak and family, Markum, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Mamajek and family, Plano, Ill., Mrs. Anton Klugiewicz, Milwaukee, Mrs. Stephen
Wargolet, Cudahy, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Mucha and family, Milwaukee, Mrs.
Mary Demerski, Pennsylvania and John Klugiewicz of Gilman, Wis.
