Mrs. Oswald Pischer and little daughter of Grant
came Saturday to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. Mallig, returning home
Sunday.
The Ed Prock and John Prock families, Mrs. Linus Prock and
children, Marcella Neis and Edna Quast attended Catholic Church at Neillsville
Thursday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Reichert autoed over from Chili
Sunday to visit at the home of Mrs. Reichert’s father, August Worchel.
Services at the Lutheran Church Sunday (Pentecost) will begin at the usual time,
10:30 a.m. On Monday morning communion services will be held.
Mr. and
Mrs. John Dudei visited at the home of their daughter Mrs. Carl Radtke in York
on Sunday.
Herman Beyer and wife of Pine Valley attended church here
Thursday, Ascension Day.
Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Worchel and Marie Worchel
very pleasantly entertained a party of young people Sunday afternoon and
evening.
There was a dance at Albert Manthey’s barn Saturday evening.
Fred Schoengarth Jr. and C. Greeler and their wives of York visited at the
Paul Hagedorn home Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Scheel Sr. left Saturday for
St. Paul to spend a few days with their daughter Mrs. Pauline Roehler. From
there, they will go to Nebraska to visit their son-in-law and daughter, Rev. and
Mrs. A.B. Korn.
August Dudei and wife, son Arnold and niece Elsie Dude
visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dudei near Granton.
Elsie
Jacklyn and wife returned last week from Melrose.
Mr. and Mrs. John
Pagenkopf and Theodore Schlinkert visited relatives here Sunday.
Edna
Quast of Greenwood is visiting her sister, Mrs. Linus Prock.
