Mrs. H.A. Knoll has been on the sick list the past 2 or 3
weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest lee and son were Chili callers Wednesday.
Miss Hilda Ehrhardt helped Mrs. Knoll with her housework last week.
George Verkuilen and wife were Chili callers Thursday afternoon.
Mr. and
Mrs. Ernest Singer and baby autoed to Unity Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar
Franke.
Mr. and Mrs. T.F. Lee spent Sunday with her son Ernest.
Lem Curtis and family spent Sunday at John Pizer’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Reuben
Fields and Miss Esther Sparks drove to Chili Saturday. Miss Esther remained down
there with Mrs. Tom Gibson.
Jay Curtis, who works in a barber shop in
Granton, spent Sunday with his parents.
Walter and Earl Drake autoed to
Maplehurst Sunday with John Rollins and Abe Harding. They went on a fishing trip
but with poor success, as usual.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lindow and baby
Loran spent Sunday evening at Gordon Davis'.
Ray Vogel was a Sunday
evening caller at Lem Curtis'.
Mr. Jesse Sparks of Sherwood spent Sunday
with his daughter, Mrs. Reuben Fields.
Jap Spry called at Gordon Davis’
Sunday afternoon, giving Gordon a few lessons in auto driving.
Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Madler and daughter Paulina spent Sunday at Schmidtke's.
