Mr. A. Voigt and family attended the wedding of
Jimmie Guard and Miss Eva Morison.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Worchel and Charles
spent Thursday at John Goebel’s.
Quite a number from here took in the
silver wedding dance of Mr. and Mrs. P. Smith.
Mr. J. Miller was taken to
the Eau Claire Hospital Saturday. Mrs. Miller accompanied him there, but came
home on the next train. Gangrene had set in his foot.
Nearly everyone
from around here went to church Sunday.
Mr. Henry Dietrich and family
spent sund with Mr. Herman Riedel and family.
Miss Anita Bass is working
for Mrs. Davis for a few weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Voigt and family visited
at Mr. Fischer’s at Nasonville Sunday afternoon and went to Nasonville church in
the evening, it being their old home church.
Mr. W. Breseman and wife are
home again and expect to stay for some time now.
Miss Sadie Bass was
expected home last week from her uncle’s C. Krause, but has been obliged to stay
a while longer for one of the little boys has pneumonia.
Miss Lydia
Nitschke came home Sunday and stayed until Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ure
visited at H. Krause’s Sunday.
Mrs. E. Nitschke went Sunday to help take
care of the little sick baby at Beilke’s. She returned home Monday.
Mr.
A. Vogel has rented the John Herman place for the coming season.
A Mr.
Smith and family from Chicago has bought the old Ebert place. They moved on it
Tuesday.
Mrs. P. Breseman entertained the church society Wednesday.
Mrs. W.P. Boller called at Ernest Nitschke’s Sunday.
The John Goebel
family took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Helm on Sunday.
