Dahnert, Mr. and Mrs. Herman (Golden - 1967)
Mr. and Mrs. Henry E.
Dahnert will observed their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday at their home at 114
Hewett Street, Neillsville. Open House for friends and relatives will be held
from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. Dahnert were married May 7, 1917, in the
Reformed Church parsonage in Neillsville by the Rev. David Grether. Their
attendants were Hannah Turville, now Mrs. Ben Dahnert and Ben Dahnert.
They farmed on the Dahnert farm in the Town of Levis until 1945. Since that time
they have resided in Neillsville.
Mr. Dahnert was born April 13, 1894, in
Dane County, and was the son of the late Carl and Alvina Dahnert. He received
his education in the old Carlyle School.
Mrs. Dahnert was born June 11,
1898, in the Town of Pine Valley. Her parents were the late Fred and Matilda
Seelow. She attended rural schools in that township.
She is a member of
the Sewing circle of the United Church of Christ and also is a member of the
Happy Hour Homemaker Club. Both are members of the United Church of Christ.
