Sunday afternoon visitors at the Hugh Howard home were Mrs. Wayne Kronberger
and family, and Richard Hagedorn.
Mr. and Mrs. George Shaw, who have been
visiting their daughter, Mrs. Dick Lowe, and family in St. Louis, Mo., are
expected home this week.
Rick Hoffmann, who has been employed in
Rockford, Ill., is spending some time with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Car3l
Hoffmann, before going on construction work.
The Rev. Jack Grether was in
Lac du Flambeau Monday where he attended a meeting of the Wisconsin Council of
Churches, Indian department.
The Rev. Jack Grether was in Madison one
day last week attending a meeting of the health and welfares agencies of the
United Church in Wisconsin. Mrs. Grether, who accompanied him, spent the time
with her daughter, Joann, student at the University of Wisconsin.
Mr.
and Mrs. Leo Kubat of Chicago, Ill., are expected Sunday for a few days’ visit
with her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Max Lukas.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin
Evanson and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Miller were guests Sunday at the Orville Evanson
home in Wausau and attended the confirmation of their grandson, Duane Evanson.
Mr. and Mrs. Evanson visited at the Roland Evanson home in Mosinee before
returning home.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderegg and family of Germantown
spent Mother’s Day weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Campbell. On
Mother’s Day Mrs. Campbell had a long distance call from her son, Gordon.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Murphy and family of Mequon were Mother’s Day weekend
guests of her mother, Mrs. Antoinette Cram.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wavrunek of
Madison spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Wavrunek and
Mr. and Mrs. Louie Meinholdt.
