Harvey, Cheryl Lee
(Marriage - 27 May 1967)
Miss Cheryl Lee Harvey of Marshfield, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harvey of Neillsville, was given in marriage Saturday to
Gregory Joseph Kienzle, also of Marshfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray A. Kerrigan
of 2128 Market St. La Cross. The double ring ceremony uniting the couple in
marriage was performed by Msgr. Anthon P. Wagener of Prairie du Chien, at an
11:30 a.m. high mass in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville.
The
bride, carrying a cascade bouquet of pink and white roses with stephanotis and
ivy, was attired in a floor length A-line gown. Pearl and scalloped Chantilly
lace accentuated the yoke redingote front, revealing a demi-fitted organza gown,
with the lace cage effect swept into a Watteau chapel train. Her bouffant veil
billowed from a floral headpiece with seed pearls and borealis.
Her
matron of honor was Mrs. Elaine Odegard of Racine. Bridesmaids were Miss Jane
Harvey of Neillsville and Miss Diane Rosenberg of Racine. The attendants were
seen in mint green linen demi-fitted A-line gowns topped with linen net. They
wore mint green headpieces and wrist length white gloves. Each carried a topiary
ball of lavender chrysanthemums and ivy.
Richard Kerrigan of La
Crescent, Minn., was bestman. Groomsmen were Norman Flynn and Don Kerrigan, both
of La Crosse. Ushers were Robert T. Harvey of Neillsville and Donald McConaghy
of Baraboo.
Ellis Wall sang the wedding songs, and the children of St.
Mary’s choir sang the mass. Mrs. Glenn Short was the accompanist.
Mr. and
Mrs. Kienzle both have Bachelor of Science degrees in medical technology and
both are employed as medical technologists in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
On their return from a wedding trip to Canada and Exp 67, they will reside
at 813 E. 5th St. Marshfield.
