Pleasant Ridge (1 June 1967)

Mrs. Theamore Vine will, be hostess next Thursday afternoon at 1:30 to the Pleasant Ridge circle of the Neillsville Methodist Church. A film will be shown.

Mr. and Mrs. Steph Kosmosky attended he reunion of the class of 1942 of Black River Falls High School, of which Mrs. Kosmosky was a member. Following the reunion, they drove to Warrens, where they attended a party honoring Mrs. Kosmosky’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goetzka, on their 45th wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Ira Slocomb of Menomonie and Miss Marion Hantke of St. Paul, Minn., spent the weekend visiting “Ridge” and Neillsville relatives.

George Swann and Mrs. Walter Carter of Crandon visited Monday forenoon at the Genevieve Hantke home and spent part of the day with relatives in Neillsville. They returned to Crandon late Monday.

Miss Shirley Magnuson returned to Minneapolis, Minn., after spending the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Ella Magnuson.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kuechenmeister visited last week Tuesday evening at the Ben Dux home in Neillsville. Other guests at the Dux home to help them celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary were Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Meihak of Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Haines of the Town of Grant.
