Christie, Dimple Stella (3 December 1888 - 4 June 1967)

Mrs. Dimple Stella Christie, 78, of Greenwood died Sunday in Neillsville, due to a heart ailment.

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. Burial was to be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Carl Booher was to officiate.

Dimple Westphal was born December 3, 1888, in Neillsville to John and Elizabeth (Scheumel) Westphal.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Marion (Edith) Churkey of Owen, Mrs. Arnold (Leona) Mueller of Loyal, and Mrs. James (Bethel) Stevens of Savannah, Ga.; three sons, John Stafford of Greenwood, Earl Stafford of Unity and Lyle Stafford of Kenosha. There are 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Helmuth (Mina) Siems of Port Edwards; and a brother, Claude Westphal of Neillsville.
