Dudansky, Otto L. (18 MAY 1891 - 31 MAY 1962)
Otto Louis Dudansky, 72, a
lifelong resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at Victory Memorial
Hospital at Stanley on Thursday, May 31, 1962, after a lingering illness.
Mr. Dudansky was born in Thorp on May 18, 1891. He enlisted in 1918 in the
army in World War I, and served in 12th Co., 161st Depot Brigade.
Mr.
Dudansky was employed as mill wright for the Lang Canning Co. of Stanley and
Chippewa Falls from 1918 until his retirement in 1956.
Besides his wife
Bertha, he is survived by one daughter, Dorothy, Mrs. Jonathon Spivak, 3103
Oliver St. N.W., Washington, D.C., and two grandchildren, Jennifer Spivak, 6,
and Timothy L.A. Spivak, 3; two brothers, Herman Dudansky of Plymouth, Wis., and
Wm. Dudansky, Thorp; five sisters, Mrs. Walter Deuermeyer, Aitkin, Minn., Mrs.
George Courter, Thorp, Mrs. George Brown, West Chicago, Mrs. Alfred Heymann,
Lombard, Ill., and Mrs. Louis Kaczor of Thorp.
Funeral services were
conducted by Rev. Robert Olson of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, at the Thorp
Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 o’clock, Monday, June 4th. Vocal selections, “Sweet
Hour of Prayer,” and “God Will Take Care of You,” were rendered by Linda Tieman,
accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Walter Reinke. Military honors were accorded
the deceased at the grave in the East Thorp Cemetery by Cecil Tormey Post No.
118 of the American Legion, in charge of Chaplin Harry Badzinski. A salute was
made by the firing squad followed by taps. Pallbearers were Stanley Herman,
Malen Teclaw, Frank La Flex, John Barth, Wm. S. Wagner, and Thomas Polnaszek.
Out of town persons who were here to attend the funeral were, Relatives -

and grandson, West Chicago, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Heymann, Ill.; Friends

Packwaukee, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kaczor, Redville, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Stigen, Withee, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moucha, Jim Falls, Wis., Blanch
Tvrznik, Eau Claire, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank La Flex of Gilman, Wis.
