A severe windstorm struck our vicinity late Saturday evening, the barns on the Frank Krueger and Ed Prokopinski farms were blown down, many trees and small buildings were damaged.

 

Mrs. Darwin Downers of Chippewa Falls spent Thursday at the Paul Isenberger home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Voytovich and children of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the Ed Karlen home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Winston Wohld and their guests Clarence and Gilman Tompson, and Forst Shilts of Kenosha spent Friday at the John Fassum home in Holcombe.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Jacobson, Mr. and Mrs. Thorvald Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. David Erickson and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hansen spent Thursday evening at the Neill Shorey home, also their daughter and family of Oregon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Rex Hornbeck and three sons of Redmond, Oregon spent part of their vacation at the home of the latter's mother, Mrs. Neil Shorey and family, and with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hornbeck of Eau Claire.

 

Harvey Thompson of Kenosha spent the weekend at the Winston Wohld home.

 

Mrs. Lloyd Manley and Mrs. Eugene Brown spent Friday afternoon at the Paul Isenberger home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Karlen visited at the Nels Bye home Sunday afternoon and spent the evening at the Wilton Karlen home in Longwood.

 

Miss Ingabor Bjornson of Chicago visited Mrs. Paul Isenberger on Thursday.

 

Clarence Thompson and son, Gilman, and Forest Shilts of Kenosha spent several days this week at the Winston Wohld home.
