Ulrich, Grace Eileen (Marriage - 3 June 1967)

The Rev. William Nikolai performed a double ring ceremony June 3 in Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, uniting in marriage Miss Grace Eileen Ulrich of Neillsville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ulrich of Rt. 3 Neillsville, and Tony James Trunkel, Sr., of Willard.

The altar was graced with bouquets of white gladioli and pink carnations.

For her wedding, the bride wore a white floor length gown of which the pouf skirt of rayon organza over taffeta swept in fullness, to a deep center back pleat. A nylon Chantilly lace over nylon tulle bodice was fashioned with a scalloped neckline, studded with seed pearls and French sequins, and long, tapered sleeves that came to a point at the wrists. Her fingertip veil of imported pure silk French illusion was joined to a crown of crystals, pearls and lace. She carried a bridal bouquet in a cascade arrangement of pink and white stephanotis.

Miss Elsie Ulrich of Rt. 3 Neillsville was her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a sleeveless gown, the empire bodice of which was of embossed pink peau de soie. The A-line skirt featured plain pink peau de soie material. She wore elbow length gloves. Her shoulder length veil was attached to a crown of pink embossed peau de soie. She carried a cascade arrangement of pink and white carnations.

Frank Trunkel of Lakeland, Minn., was his brother’s bestman.

Nuptial music was furnished by the junior choir of Holy Family Church.

A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Trunkel, Sr., in Willard. The wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents in the Town of Levis.

The bride a 1965 graduate of Neillsville High School has been employed in a plant in Marshfield. Mr. Trunkel attended Willard and Greenwood schools. He is currently serving as patrolman on the Tomah Police force. Before going to Tomah he was a member of the Neillsville police department.

On their return from a three-week wedding trip through western states and California, Mr. and Mrs. Trunkel will reside at 318 W. Monsuar Street in Tomah.
