Bender, Gregory A. (18 APR 1956 - 24 JUL 2012)

Gregory A. Bender., age 56, of Withee passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen at 11:30 AM. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Greg was born April 18, 1956 to George "Jiggs" and Alice (Ritter) Bender in Marshfield. He attended Owen schools. Gregory was united in marriage to Nancy Zaidel on May 21, 1974 in Neillsville. He worked for Abbyland Foods in Abbotsford until ill health forced him to retire.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing, making fish lures and spending time with his grandchildren.

Greg is survived by his wife; Nancy Bender of Withee, his mother: Alice Bender of Owen, son; Keith Bender of Withee , daughter; Georgia (Joe) Roberts of Owen, grandchildren; Autumn Bender, Adam Bender and Maddie Roberts and one brother; Jody Bender of Owen.

Gregory is preceded in death by his father; George "Jiggs" Bender.
