Worchel, Lillia H. (14 February 1899 - 12 June 1967)

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe for Mrs. Ewald (Lillia H) Worchel, 68, of Rt. 3, Neillsville, who died here Monday. The Rev. David Witte officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Worchel, the former Lillia Beyer, daughter of the late August and Caroline (Meihack) Beyer, was born February 14, 1889, in Clark County. She attended rural school in the Town of Weston and Neillsville High School. On March 28, 1917, she was married to Ewald Worchel in the Town of Pine Valley. They resided in the Town of Seif, retiring from farming in 1959. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Surviving besides her husband are five children: Louis of Neillsville, Mrs. Harvey (Edith) Howard of Monona, Ia., Calvin of Deerfield, Ill., Ardell of Riverhead, Long Island, N. Y., and Mrs. Norman (Mardene) Waldhauser of Sussex; and two sisters, Miss Margaret Beyer of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Minnie Wolff of Deerfield, Ill.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ewald Worchel, 68, of Rt. 3 Neillsville, were held Wednesday afternoon from the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe. The Rev. David Witte officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert Seif, Norman Poppe, Ray Winkel, Marvin Boyer, Leo Henchen and Louis Dux. The congregation sang, accompanied by Mrs. David Hoppa.

Worchel of Omro; Mrs. Robert Boss, Joni Boss, and Mrs. Bertha Hassel of Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Meihack and Ernest Crossett of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Priebbernow of Spencer; Mrs. Richard Sauer, Mrs. Donald Brink, Mrs. Elda Schmidt, and Jane Brink of Oakfield; Frederick Schmidt of Mayville; Ewald Worchel of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. David Klatt of Alma Center; Mrs. Robert Quast of Sparta; Mrs. Chester Klatt and Mrs. Amanda Polus of Fairchild; Mrs. George Broiher and Verona Fritsche of Willard.
