Alvin Sladish of Monessen, Pa., Mrs. Johanna Sladish, Miss Barbara Sladish and Mrs. Anna Blatnik of Fayette, Pa., arrived Tuesday to spend a week at the Ignatz Sladish home.

Mr. and Mrs. William Pfeiffer and children, May Lynn, Nancy and William, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Urban and son Ernie, Jr., and Mrs. Vernard Swieso and children, Gary, Jeffrey and Karen, of Burlington, spent the weekend with their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Walter Swieso. Sunday, the group attended the Swieso-White family reunion in Marshfield. The Vernard Swieso’s are moving from Burlington to Denver, Colo., to reside.

The vacation church school closed with a program in Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenwood Sunday morning. Following the program the congregation was joined by members and children of St. John’s Lutheran church of Withee for a picnic at Greenwood Park. A noon meal was served. Games were played in the afternoon. Teachers in charge of the school in Trinity church were: Kindergarten, Mrs. James Metzke assisted by Karlene Learman, Carla Ogden and Bonnie Lenz; primary, Nancy Ossman and Susan Thiel; intermediates, James Barr and John Metzke; and junior high, the Rev. Leroy Urman.

The Esther Circle of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is scheduled to meet today (Thursday) at the home of Mrs. Clarence Verhulst.

The Rev. and Mrs. Carl Booher and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Kenyon left Tuesday to attend the annual four-day conference of Methodist churches in La Crosse.

Capt. and Mrs. R. Selufsky and children of El Paso, Tex., spent several days with her grandmother, Mrs. Henry Keiner. They were enroute to New York to visit his parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clintsman and children spent the weekend in Menomonie, where, on Sunday, they attended the baptism of their niece, Brenda Lee Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Baker.

Weekend guests at the home of Mrs. O. J. Amundson were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Funke and Mr. and Mrs. Al Schwantes of New Holstein, and Dr. and Mrs. James Dougherty and family of Medford.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Speich of Eau Claire spent a few days with his mother, Mrs. Jake Speich.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Mikottis and children returned to Bensenville Wednesday after visiting at the John Kaltinger home and with other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Jackson visited relatives and friends in Mt. Sterling over the weekend.

Weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Alma Busch were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Busch and daughter, Rebecca, of Appleton and Mr. and Mrs. Ed O’Konski and family of Waukegan, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Christopherson and family visited at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Jackson in Lake Bluff, Ill., over the weekend. Their daughter, Sue Christopherson, remained in Highland Park, Ill, where she is employed.

The Forest Queen Royal Neighbors Camp met Monday evening in the Legion Hall. Mrs. Walter Swieso presided. Mrs. Caroline Seidl of Marshfield, R. N. A. deputy, was a guest and gave a report on the Bi-County Royal Neighbor convention held in May. Following the business meeting, games were played and prizes were awarded to Mrs. Alice Perkins and Mrs. Julia Koci. A lunch was served by Mrs. Leonard Johnson and Mrs. Dale Jollivette. The next meeting will be held July 3. Hostesses will be Mrs. Hugh Severson and Miss Louise Keiner.
