Frederick A.
Weidman, 76, Abbotsford, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Aspirus Wausau
Hospital.
He was born October 24, 1936, in Marshfield, the son of
Frederick and Mary (Miller) Weidman.
Fred was a veteran of the US Marine
Corps during the Korean War.
He married Patricia D. Welch on July 1,
1959 at St. Stephen’s Church, Chili. Patricia died on February 6, 2004.
Fred was employed as a mechanic, having owned and operated numerous gas
stations. He was also a truck driver.
He and Pat also owned and operated
Pat’s Main Street Café and Catering in Abbotsford.
Fred is survived by
three children, Michael, Wausau, Joseph (Bobbi), Rib Falls and Linda (Chris)
Solchenberger, Wausau. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Fred
was preceded in death by his patents, his wife and three sisters.
A
memorial Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, July 16, at St. Bernard’s
Church, Abbotsford. Interment took place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.
