A Happy New Year for everybody,
readers of this paper and those who may become readers.
Frank Oens and wife mourn the
loss of a little twin boy which died Friday morning and was buried Sat. Morning,
attaining the age of five weeks. The
bereaved have the sympathy of everybody.
John W. Bailey and wife went to
Osseo Tuesday noon, where they will stay with Elmer Bailey for some time perhaps
until spring.
L.A. Allen made a business trip
to Neillsville Tuesday.
L.A. Reichert was at Granton
between trains on Monday.
School in this district closed
last Thursday for a two weeks vacation.
Tuesday night the teacher Gladys Wage and pupils gave a pa and ma
Christmas entertainment, which was highly appreciated by all.
The closing year seems to let us
go without having a day of sleighing, something which we don’t experience every
year.
G.G. Maack left here the 24th of this month and went to work at Whitehall.
