Mrs. R. Graham came home from
Plattville last Wednesday to spend the winter here with her son John and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Nate Drake and son
Earl spent Christmas at Abel Harding’s.
Wm. Staley of Phillips is
visiting with his daughter here.
Wm. Reid and family will leave
here soon to take up a homestead in the northern part of the state.
Lem Curtis and family, Gordon
Davis and family enjoyed Christmas dinner at H.A. Knoll’s.
Nearly everybody in this vicinity
has received a visit from Old King La Grippe recently, some he makes twice glad.
Gustave and Henry Schmidtke gave
their mother a brand new $65 steel range for Christmas.
Mrs. J. Aatman of Cedarhurst
visited at J. Graham’s Sunday.
W.R. Happe and family autoed to
Marshfield, Sunday.
Ike Rogers spent Saturday night
and Sunday with Heathville friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Wellie Davis spent
Xmas with his parents.
Charley Graham was a caller at
Field’s Sunday.
Miss Vera Pietenpol was a
Heathville caller Saturday.
Sherman Davis helped his son
Wellie get up a wood pile last week.
Mr. A. Allbaugh autoed to
Neillsville last week and brought back his daughter Grace, and Delcie Smith who
have been quite sick with the measles.
Abel Harding has a logging job to
do for Mr. Wendorf of Chili.
Ruben Fields is a frequent caller
at Herman Henning’s Mondays.
