Mr. Max
Treichler plowed for Albert Davis with his tractor engine and gang plow.
Mr. Sanford Benedict, the assessor, was a caller here Monday.
Estella
Krejci is keeping house for her brother Victor at his home in Fremont.
Last Sunday F.W. Davis autoed to Granton with his son-in-law and went to the
barber ship to get shaved.
Truman Davis, wife and daughter, with Mr. and
Mrs. John Breese, autoed to Spokeville on Sunday.
Harry Curtiss and John
Renne autoed down from Spokeville and called at John Pietenpol’s to see their
old friend and neighbor F.W. Davis.
Hubert Witte came Saturday and stayed
until Sunday evening with Glen Nonhof.
Pat Cranston has shipped and sol
some baled hay.
Will Foemmel and family autoed to Tioga Monday to see the
Theodore and Ed Ziegler families. The ladies are sisters.
Marjorie
Pietenpol, Rachel Cole, Rose Kemmeter and Elva Amidon had a picnic near Kurth
Sunday.
Foemmel Corners was well represented at the school play “Deacon
Dobbs” last Friday evening at Granton which proved to be a success in every way.
District No. 3, town of York, with Miss Maria Davis teacher, will give an
ice cream social at the school house tomorrow, Saturday evening. Everybody is
invited.
