The ice cream social of school district No. 4 was well attended.
John
Graham has been stumping for Fred Dankemyer. John knows how to get them out.
Assessing time is here now so don’t be afraid to give the assessor what
property you have, as it will save time and trouble.
Otto Spiegelberg and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Wellie Davis, and Al Christenson attended a show at the
Trio Theatre Sunday night at Marshfield.
John Rollins purchased a new
horse last week.
Many propose to go to Neillsville for Decoration Day. A
good program is promised.
We understand Gordon Davis has put in his order
for a new Ford car. Well Gordie, they may have an attachment on cars now that
they can run on water. That is the one to get, then you are safe anyway, either
water or land.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Ley visited at Wellie Davis’ Sunday.
We understand Hannah Dankemyer has accepted the position of head brakeman on
an auto. So be careful boys, don’t try to bum your rides.
Freeman
Dankemyer has put in his order for a new Ford this week. Freeman says his car is
going to be a little different from the common sort, so let’s watch him go by.
Ernest Hankey is at work on his new farm, planting corn and doing some
fencing.
